I am Katlego Mohale Ignatius Sekgota, a 26-year-old mechanically inclined and community-focused individual, born and bred in Soweto, Orlando West. For the past 15 years, I have been a resident of Braamfischerville, Roodepoort, in the west of Johannesburg.

Interests and Community Engagement:

Sports, particularly soccer, are at the heart of my passions. Growing up with the sport, I have not only continued to play but have also been running a soccer academy for the past three years. This academy is dedicated to the development of young soccer athletes, nurturing their skills and fostering their growth in the sport.

Family Values:
​
Family is the cornerstone of my life. Living with my parents, two sisters, and two nieces, I deeply resonate with the phrase "blood is thicker than water." My family provides me with support and inspiration, reinforcing my belief in the importance of strong family bonds.

Motivations and Goals:

My driving force is the development of my community. Witnessing the prosperity and advancement of community members, and contributing to building a better future for the next generation, gives me immense satisfaction. Additionally, I value good workmanship and the rewards that stem from hard work and dedication.

Entrepreneurial Aspirations:
​
If presented with the opportunity to start a business, I would venture into Waste Management. My initial focus would be on purchasing scrap from collectors and recycling it into new materials. These materials would then be sold to production companies. My long-term goal is to expand into sports training equipment manufacturing, with a special focus on creating soccer training markers made of plastic.
